14K Gold Bracelet with Adjustable Clasp

The idea for this piece emerged while studying a golden bangle discovered during excavations on the Greek island of Delos — believed to be the birthplace of Apollo. Modest and unadorned, yet pulsing with a quiet power. Archaeologists long debated whether it symbolized authority or served as a talisman worn by young women during rites of passage.

Our interpretation is a minimalist bracelet crafted from 14k yellow gold, its surface gently satin-finished. The simplicity is intentional — gold doesn’t need embellishment to speak of its nobility.

Instead of a traditional clasp, we used a hand-tied black cord — a subtle nod to ancient protective knots and amuletic traditions. This contrast — gold and cord, refinement and rawness — creates a composition to be worn as a modern relic.

A piece that doesn't ask for adjectives. It is a line. A gesture. A reminder that strength often lies in simplicity.
