14K Gold Necklace with Rock Crystal

In the 19th century, on the slopes of the Bernese Alps, shepherds would find translucent fragments among the rocky debris—shards that, in the morning sun, resembled the frozen tears of gods. Back then, rock crystal was believed to be fossilized water—krystallos—eternal ice that could never melt. This ancient belief in the mystical power of the stone has survived the centuries.

The necklace crafted in our atelier is a quiet tribute to that idea of purity and timelessness. At its center lies a precisely faceted rock crystal, set in delicate prongs of solid 14k gold. The open setting not only highlights the geometry of the cut but also allows light to pass freely through each facet—as if the stone itself were breathing.
