18K White Gold, South Sea Pearl Vintage Necklace

Among the warm, calm waters of the South Seas, where time passes more slowly and the sunlight reflects off the surface of the water as if it were a mirror, live the Pinctada Maxima pearl oysters. It is inside them, far from the human gaze, that the rarest of pearls mature – almost perfectly spherical, with a luminous, silver-white glow.

The necklace in our collection was composed of 31 exceptional South Sea Silver Lip pearls, with a diameter of 13 to 15.5 mm – a size that is rare in itself. However, it is not only their size and shape that are enchanting – these are pearls that do not betray their age, rebellious against time, subtly shimmering from every angle.

Each pearl was hand-threaded onto a silk thread and separated with a knot – a subtle but significant nod to the jewellery tradition.

The central point of this composition is the clasp – a spherical form made of 750 white gold, completely inlaid with diamonds with a total weight of 1.89 ct (G color, VS2 clarity). It not only closes the composition, but becomes its visual and symbolic culmination – a kind of "pearl among pearls".

Created in the second half of the 20th century, this necklace is not only a tribute to the classics, but also to the timeless power of natural beauty. Balance, harmony and luxury enclosed in one object.
