14K Gold Coins Cufflinks

Cufflinks with antique coins made of 900 gold from 1898.

The obverse of the coin features the likeness of Tsar Nicholas II and the Cyrillic inscription "B.M. NIKOLAJ II IMPERATOR I AUTOJERŻEC WSJEROSS.[-IJSKIJ]"

The reverse is decorated with the Small Coat of Arms of the Russian Empire and the inscription "5 RUBLJEJ 1898 G."

In addition to their considerable value as precious metal, these cufflinks also have great numismatic value. Although millions of these coins were minted in the Saint Petersburg Mint during the reign of Tsar Nicholas II, most of them were melted down in the 20th century, so they are now a rarity on the numismatic market.
