In Pompeian villas from the 1st century AD, the walls were decorated not only with paintings, but also with refined plant motifs of architectural precision. Style III – called illusionist – did not seek wealth through opulence, but through the impression of depth and subtle narrative.
This ring fits into this trend. The shape of a garland entwined with leaves and buds does not impose itself, does not compete with the form of the hand, but coexists with it – just like the fresco from Livia's garden with the wall it decorates.
Zircons – transparent, natural minerals with a high refractive index – are arranged with a precision that can only be achieved in the handwork of a jeweller. These are not popular synthetic zircons – but authentic zircons, stones that are less common and therefore more intriguing. Their shine does not compete with a diamond – it is different: more misty, cold, reminiscent of moonlight reflected in water.
The setting made of 585 white gold with a distinct line of a wavy edge adds rhythm to the structure – almost musical. The form does not dominate, but leads the eye like a gentle melody.
