Earrings with natural coral, citrine and aquamarine

The artist was inspired to create this unique pair of earrings by the work of the Catalan painter, sculptor and ceramicist - Jean Miró. A blaze of colours, fantastic shapes, unfettered childlike expression, which are a "sandbox for the subconscious" characterise Miró's work.

The same freedom of expression is represented by this pair of earrings made of gold-plated silver. The elongated, raw, porous coral stands in opposition to our idea of ​​using coral in jewellery - usually polished and rounded. The subdued warmth of the coral is juxtaposed with: a cooler round citrine and an oval aquamarine - both with facet cuts.
