Styl Tank narodził się w latach 40. XX wieku - w świecie masywnych form, szerokich obrączek i geometrycznych kompozycji, w których złoto przestało być jedynie oprawą dla kamieni, a samo zaczęło budować architekturę biżuterii. Ten pierścionek świetnie oddaje ducha epoki: szeroka obrączka przechodzi w asymetryczną, przestrzenną koronę złożoną z kilku wyraźnie oddzielonych elementów.

Z jednej strony pojawia się rząd trzech diamentów, z drugiej cztery intensywnie czerwone rubiny, a pomiędzy nimi wypolerowane złote kule - niemal jak nity w modernistycznej konstrukcji. Zestawienie kamieni, geometrycznych płaszczyzn i mocno zaznaczonej bryły jest bardzo charakterystyczne dla biżuterii Tank / Retro. To projekt z czasów, kiedy pierścionek miał być widoczny z drugiego końca stolika w kawiarni - i zdecydowanie nie udawał, że jest subtelny.
