Platynowy pierścionek z diamentami, Art Deco

Art déco kochało geometrię. Koła, prostokąty, ostre linie i idealna symetria pojawiały się w architekturze, wnętrzach, modzie, a jubilerzy lat 20. i 30. zamykali tę samą estetykę w platynie i diamentach.

Ten pierścionek wygląda niemal jak miniaturowa fasada modernistycznego wieżowca. Platyna była wymarzonym metalem dla takich projektów. Jej wytrzymałość pozwalała tworzyć delikatne oprawy i umieszczać kamienie bardzo blisko siebie, dzięki czemu z pewnej odległości metal niemal znika, pozostawiając przede wszystkim światło diamentów.

Stylistycznie pierścionek odpowiada Art Déco lat 30. XX wieku, monumentalnemu w formie, choć zamkniętemu w skali dłoni. To właśnie wtedy jubilerstwo potrafiło zamienić pierścionek w mały projekt architektoniczny.
