Cartier Tank Solo XL watch, 2020, Swiss Made

For over a century, Cartier has set the standards of elegance in the world of watchmaking. The Tank model, designed in 1917 by Louis Cartier, was one of the first modern wristwatches and remains a design icon to this day. Its geometric form was inspired by the silhouette of military Renault tanks – hence the characteristic, rectangular case with distinct lines.

The Tank Solo XL version is a larger, more contemporary interpretation of the classic Tank. It retains all the iconic elements – Roman numerals, blue hands, and a cabochon in the crown – while offering an automatic movement and a more prominent presence on the wrist.

The presented timepiece from 2020 (ref. WSTA0029) is preserved in very good condition. The watch has minor, imperceptible signs of wear and is sold as a full set – with its original box and papers.
