Diamond Eternity ring

This ring belongs to those forms that do not need an elaborate narrative to speak of time. The rhythm of small, 1mm diamonds, set halfway around the band, evokes a calm, repetitive gesture, like marking off days on a calendar where not everything needs to be written to the end. The stones guide the eye, then give way to the smooth surface of the gold, leaving space for the future.

The eternity setting in this version was made contemporaneously, with a great sense of proportion. Regularly spaced diamonds create a subtle band of light that does not dominate the form but rather organizes it. The gold acts as a frame here, stable, warm, balanced. This solution is close to jewelry designs of the second half of the 20th century, where function and aesthetics met without unnecessary embellishments.

This ring fits well as a symbol; it does not close a story but rather begins it. Half of the band set with diamonds can be read as a conscious choice of balance between what is permanent and known, and what is yet unnamed. It is in this simplicity that its strength lies.
