The court of Louis XV, France, 18th century. The Sun King, known for his love of opulence and… his mistress, the Marquise de Pompadour. It is said that this unique marquise diamond cut was created for her, or more precisely, for her smile. The King wished for the stone to resemble the shape of his beloved's perfect and sensual lips. And so, the marquise cut was born – an elongated oval with pointed ends, which to this day captivates with its elegance and optically lengthens fingers, and in necklaces – beautifully accentuates the décolletage.

Our necklace is just such a return to the past, a nod to the 18th-century court and royal love, but in a modern interpretation.
