Kiedy w 1976 roku Chopard zaprezentował kolekcję Happy Diamonds, diament przestał być nieruchomym centrum kompozycji. Uwolniony z klasycznej oprawy mógł poruszać się wraz z osobą noszącą biżuterię, obracać, przesuwać i za każdym razem inaczej odbijać światło.
