This elegant signet ring was created in the 1930s, during the heyday of the Art Deco style, which in jewelry manifested itself in a fondness for geometry, contrast, and precision of form. Made of 0.585 gold, it is an expression of the classic, modernist masculinity of the era.

At the center of the ring is a black onyx in the form of a faceted plate, with a characteristic rectangular shape with slightly cut corners. The stone is adorned with an intaglio, an engraving depicting a profile of a figure (probably male), made using the intaglio technique. Such representations were popular both as heraldic and portrait motifs, referring to classic ancient patterns.

The wide shank of the signet ring is decorated with a geometric engraving, a rhythmic pattern of rhombuses inscribed in a rectangular frame, typical of the 1930s. The band smoothly transitions into the stone setting, creating a compact, solid form with balanced proportions.

A signet ring of this type served not only a decorative but also a symbolic function, as a personal mark of the owner, an expression of identity, status, or memory. Today, it is a rare example of classic Art Deco jewelry, valued both as a collector's item and an original everyday ornament.
