In one of the halls of Palazzo Vecchio, the one where the morning light fills each caisson with a delicate, almost pearly glow, Renaissance masters created ornaments that still command respect with their mathematical harmony. It was that precision – the rhythm of repeating geometric forms concealing a play of light and shadow – that became the starting point for the Palazzo project.

The central diamond set in a full, gold setting resembles an oculus, through which light entered the interiors of the Florentine palace, drawing shimmering circles on the floor. It is surrounded by a carefully arranged wreath of diamonds, creating a multi-layered, octagonal "caisson" – each facet of the diamond reflects light just as the golden embellishments once reflected the sun's rays penetrating through the windows of Palazzo.

The openwork structure beneath the main part of the ring, crafted from 14-karat yellow gold, alludes to the corbel structures that supported adorned vaults in Renaissance architecture. This detail reveals the handiwork of the goldsmiths – their ability to combine ornamentation with lightness of form.

The model is available in two versions: Palazzo Grande, with a more elaborate decorative section, and Palazzo Mini, more subtle yet equally refined.
