Gold ring with 1.25 ct diamond, 1910
Description
The presented ring is made of gold, and a high-quality diamond weighing over one carat is set in a platinum setting. The basket-shaped white metal setting allows good illumination of the brilliant, making it exceptionally bright and shiny. On the hand, the ring simply "shines." The shank, made of rose, warm gold, beautifully complements natural skin tones. On its inner side, there is an inscription 1.14.64 (implying the year 1964) and another, slightly worn engraving W.P 1910, so we can assume that this is a family heirloom that was passed on to a new owner after more than half a century. This is a real treat for collectors of historical jewelry and a ring with a story.
