Gold ring with Salt & Pepper diamond in Marquise cut

In our workshops, we often say that salt & pepper diamonds resemble miniature archives of time. Within them, fragments of ancient geological processes shimmer, as if someone had captured traces of primeval storms, light, and shadow in stone. In this particular specimen, the Marquise cut plays a special role: its elongated form, once created for a royal whim, gains a more enigmatic character here thanks to natural inclusions forming structures reminiscent of a misty sky after sunset.

The slender 585 yellow gold ring is crafted in stages, from precise rolling to hand profiling, and then under the cool light of microscopes, where our gemologists assess the proportions and stability of the setting. Four delicate prongs embrace the stone to allow it to play with light from every side, while preserving its individual character, without smoothing out what is most beautiful in salt & pepper: its natural, unique narrative.
